Year 2016 brought many changes in my professional career. I moved from Warsaw, to Vienna, to work for International General Contractor Company - Strabag AG.

As Project Engineer at 'Zentrale Technik' I am responsible for Projects executed by Company from the structural stability site. My main tasks are to provide Technical Assistance for the operating
units, in the areas of: acquisition, tendering, construction design, design management, expert site management and optimization.

My duties are fullfiled in German, English, and Polish language and I am responsible for projects based in Central and Western Europe.

I work in areas of: reinforced concrete structures, steel structures, load-bearing structures of highrise buildings, columns shortening, prestressing, pre-cast construction, long-span roofing, free-cantilever equipment for bridges, bridge construction, geotechnics, water impermeable concrete (Weisse Wanne) and composite waterproofing membranes.

Internship as assistent of structural engineer.

During my time at BuroHappold I worked as structural engineer – designer. My duties although were very diverse. As consulting engineer I had to handle with different types of issues from designing to constructing. My main responsibilities were to conduct structural calculations. I had to design various types of structures made of reinforced concrete, pre-stressed concrete, or steel. I have been working on Eurocodes and DINs.

I developed my manager skills and was supervising the team of technicians and trainees. I have experience in nonstandard technologies – like pre-stressed slabs, slabs in Cobiax technology, composite constructions, deep excavations (over 4 stories underground), also ground piles or diaphragm walls. I have been working with latest BIM and structural analysis software

Some projects that I have taken part in:

- Berlin Entertainment District – Mercedes Platz, Buillding C and D - Hotel and Office building - project was made in German Language (15000 m2)

- Varso Tower - High-rise Office building by Foster&Partners in Warsaw – 300 m high (tallest building in Poland), project was made in English Language (82000 m2)

- Chmielna - Varso Complex - 90m and 80m high towers with podiums - Office buildings with retail (75000 m2 and 50000 m2)

Internship at SKANSKA SA,
Assistent of Construction Manager at the John Deere - office building construction site in Tarnowo Podgorne near Poznan.
My duties were to perform as-built documentation of the John Deere project, supervision over the safety rules at the construciton site, and also other duties of civil engineer.
