Software Asset Manager
Responsibilities and achievements:
SAM accountability for BMC, VMWare, Red Hat, Dell vendors and Client Applications, SaaS portfolios, in the handover process of taking over Microsoft vendor. Budget: 5-30 MEUR.
Risk management and optimization for given vendors, portfolios, reported on the EMT level
Audit defense plan creation, audit responsible withing given and ad hoc area(s)
Supporting organization in external and internal software vendor audits, cooperation with external consulting partners and infrastructure suppliers

HR responsibility for up to 41 people working for different platforms and functions (Unix, N&T, Windows, Storage, Factory & Warehouse Support, Global Security), being functional and hosting manager for international groups, securing all HR aspects for employees and consultants

Inżynier Infrastruktury IT - Senior / Team Leader
Team Leader role since 2005 – by taking new responsibilities my team was extended from 5 to 22 people during the years and included Technical Responsible for COTS Applications, Software
Packaging WRO and Desktop Change teams.
Successful and cost effective sourcing of the Desktop Change group from Sweden to Poland;
Software Packaging Global coordinator function (international teams located in Brazil, Poland and Sweden)

Active cooperation with Client Applications group regarding new solution and services development, for example application virtualization framework

Contributing to projects, preparation for Windows 7 and Volvo Group reorganization, which includes:
o Setting up processes for ordering new applications
o Preparing and executing plans for applications migration to Windows 7
o Preparing and executing plans for applications migrations due to Volvo Group reorganization (exceeded project’s expectations)
Three days global meeting for the whole Software Packaging group organized by me that was held in Poland, including lectures and workshops
Established global QA Forum function responsible for new services, routines, adjustments of Software Packaging processes, product enhancements. The function consists of people from Sweden and Poland.
