Central and East Europe Lean Manufacturing Manager
Central and East Europe Valeo Production System Manager
Central and East Europe Valeo Production System Manager at Valeo Group.
Reporting to:
Functionally - Valeo Group Lean Manufacturing Director
Operationally: Supply Chain and Lean Director (at the Region Level)
Responsible for:
- Deployment of Lean Manufacturing System in Region
- Propose and develop standard of Lean Production change at Group Level (ex-ample: OEE system, DL productivity indicators and method, Group internal audit)
- Standardize the best practices between sites and benchmark between them
( Organizing network committees for good practices sharing and Gemba optimiza-tion learning + develop and manage Lean Portal for benchmark and good practice share)
- Identify MUDAs and propose solution of optimization (Gemba oriented and MUDA Hunting with flow analysis and Value Stream Maping approach)
- Design and improve physical flow in the sites
- Coaching by doing – participate and lead Lean Workshops (over 20 lean work-shops and projects managed every year representing significant savings)
- Follow and challenge the defined key indicators of performance (among others: TRP(OEE), Direct Labor productivity Index, DL/Sales, TLR(ppm).., )
- Support in Productivity and Cost Reduction programs (savings calculation and supporting investment decision)
- Deploy the Lean Design methodology ( how to build less MUDA equipment in cost of purchase and cost of use)
- Train selected teams (lower up to top management level) in Lean Fundamentals and Lean Design Methods
- Support plants in crisis situation (capacity, DL cost crisis)
- Train, develop Lean Engineers and Managers competencies (mid year and an-nual appraisal, selection of key players and validation of plant lean managers)
- organize and manage Lean network in the region
