( guide based on BRC, IFS, AIB, HACCP, ISO , Codex Alimentarius Commission standards ); developing and implementing simplification template and procedure for the re-authorization at EFSA; managing the aspects of legal and technical regulations on safety, additives, labelling, health claims, nutrition, contaminants, veterinary legislation, packaging etc ; following up all the regulatory developments in the food law that are likely to affect the industry and informing members accordingly; building up and maintaining contacts with EU officials, lobbying towards the EU (DG Sanco, Enterprise, Environment), EFSA (EU food safety agency); cooperating with national associations and defending dossiers; being in direct contact with senior European management representing well know European companies including Nestle, Mars, Procter and Gamble etc;; participating in the Working Groups, Review Committee, Executive Meetings within federation, development and distribution of European monthly Newsletter amongst all members;
