Systems Engineer
I'm a Systems Engineer in the Global Response Team - it's a group of IT Professionals tasked with rapidly resolving any issue which cause production downtime or problems with business critical applications, in any of the 101 Jabil Sites worldwide.
Main Areas:
- Troubleshooting ANY IT issues causing revenue loss (Servers\Network\End-Points)
- Server Administration and Server-Room Operations (Windows Server/Linux, VMware vSphere/Hyper-V, Active Directory)
- Reacting to Security Incidents (Malware infections\security breaches)
- Incident Management (coordinating cooperation between various groups and 3rd parties, communicating with Business and IT Managers)
- Reacting to Monitoring Systems events (Nagios\SCOM), to pro-actively resolve potential issues
- Providing Day One support during high risk deployments
- React and resolve Nagios alerts before they cause any issue on the production line

I'm administering over 70 HP printing devices coupled with Safecom system in 24/7 production environment. As HP MPS Administrator I'm tasked with troubleshooting, configuring and maintaining HP devices and Safecom Pull Printing infrastructure in strict, deadline oriented environment as 95% of the devices have to be in working condition for the whole time. Besides that, I'm supporting Jabil Circuit Poland site IT department as IT Support Specialist. I deal with IT issuesrequests from users in corporate environment (SLA system) and participate in large scale projects like migration to Windows 7 and implementation of McAfee Endpoint Encryption.
