We are seeking a Technician with a positive work attitude who is able to work under pressure and in a logical manner. A forward thinking individual who can contribute to the overall aim of the maintenance department: to achieve less machine downtime through a programme of preventative maintenance. Time served Electrician demonstrating proof of relevant qualifications. BTEC ONC or higher in Electrical Systems. Must have experience of Maintenance of electrical equipment i.e. CNC Metal Machining within an industrial environment. (Automotive Supply Chain). Experience in routine preventative maintenance and general fault finding and associated rectification of faults. Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment would be preferable. Must be able to work well as part of the plant maintenance provision as well as provide reliable individual maintenance cover. Ideally the individual must be able to fault find on CNC, PLCs, using Siemens, Mitsubishi, Alan Bradley. Experience with maintenance of Fanuc and ABB Robotics. The ideal candidate would have the ability to turn their hand to mechanical issues onsite. It would be desirable for the candidate to hold a full driving license and live local to the production site to enable them to provide cover in the event of an emergency breakdown.
