Oh man, I tried everything to escape his evil look... but I must have done something to upset him. Even my scarf didn't help, he finally got me on the last day!
I know the feeling... It got me on the last but one day of my stay.
So I wasn't chained to my hotel room toilet all week long but the return trip was a trip from hell :)
That's exactly what happened to me. Must have been all the trips I booked (esp. the mount Sinai climb) that wore me out and weakened my immune system. My return trip was a total killer!

been to Cairo as well?
Been to Cairo, seen the pyramids. I could say I loved the slums, becaus I'd only seen such things on TV, but of course I won't - I feel sorry for the people who live among tons of litter in the city where all blocks are of grey/sandy colour... plus the people, quite a lot of them beggars.
