He was quite successful though. One of my fav episodes is the one when he can't remember if he's had sex with the girl or not as remembers the apartment from somewhere.

I've always found it crazy that their apartment was next to central park, it was huuuuge, and they hardly kept a steady job, yet somehow managed to hang out at a coffee shop where a cup of coffee is probably like $6, every day and never mentioned bills to be an issue.
Apartment rental anywhere NEAR central park hehe.. is astronomical, not even high. You can purchase a castle somewhere in Western Europe for the money those places go for... and that's no exaggeration.

when I think about my favorite sitcoms (xcept for Alf and maybe Friends and the classics that is M.A.S.H) all that comes to my mind are British sitcoms and my current (counted from 2004-5 when I first had the chance to see it and yell - Where have you been all my life!) iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis MY FAMILY

Couldn't agree more. :-) Love 'My Family'.
However, I used to be addicted to 'Allie McBeal' and 'Northern Exposure'.
Original version is a must in case of sitcoms. 'My Family' is not half as funny on Polish TV. BTW, I wonder when, when??? we will move on to subtitles on Polish TV.

Probably never. Because current polls show that Poles are not against "lektor", they "dziwić się" when they hear dubbing, don't like to read subtitles because they can't do anyhting else but look at TV otherwise.
Even I!! got used to it. :)
Though, I don't like it either.

I think Allie McBeal was a sitcom. But I'm not a professional of such stuff. :)

I'm not a professional either, but to my knowledge, a sitcom must contain, ekhm, ee - what do you call this type of laughter??? Hate forgetting words.
