hmm... the taste of the Lugol's solution we drank at school is unforgettable (to prevent the radiation of hormones and thyroid cancer in consequence)
Yuck. They were thinking about banning that here because if you keep a concentration of over a certain amount - I dont know what is the concentration - you could use the iodine to make methamphetamine. Any left? :)

P.S. I'd like to see the morbidity rates of thyroid problems in people of certain age groups there...I like to find correaltions. My name is Joj, and I'm a nerd.

actually my thyroid is always a bit swollen and that's probably why I'm quite skinny without keeping any diet (as you can see)

my mom says one of my brothers was extremely sick after the historical walk in the fields on Sunday afternoon following the Sat Chernobyl disaster - fortunately his thyroid is fine
