after all my previous new years eves for which i paid tons of money travelled for days and eventually ended up terrible - i'll stay at home for the first time in my life and watch doda and modern talking on tvp2

One of my favorite New Years Eves was snowboarding in Tatry. I don't remember the name of the town. Bialka Tatrzanska maybe. We hopped a bus to Zakopane on a whim. Here comes the bus, we hopped on. Zakopane. But the New Years Eve was in that town. Hot wine, beer, sandwiches.

I generally prefer small gatherings. I'll be at the lake with the fireplace going and snowmobiles with my brothers and friends and having good thoughts for you all. :)Joj Y. edytował(a) ten post dnia 28.11.08 o godzinie 18:41

I was in Wro last year. We're going to Rovaniemi, Finland on 31st on December. Hopefully we'll have a glance on the Northern Lights and not only snow.
Nevertheless Lapland's said to be a fun place to be at this time of the year :) Are we out of our minds to get to the Polar Circle where temperatures fall to -35 in winter? Hey, it could be fun actually!

My best New Year's Eve was a couple of years ago. I was living in an attic apartment, so I took a ladder and climbed on the roof through the Velux window. I sat there, virtually on top of the world, drinking champagne, with all the fireworks landing next to me!

I tend to boycott NY's Eves. As I party a lot during the year, it's pointless to go out when the places ale filled with boors who know nothing about partying. Every New Year's Eve is a meaningful occasion, so I don't want to spend it with a girl who means nothing to me. I'm going to change my whole life starting 1st of January.
I know, it's a cliche statement, but I'm really going to do that.

Well, I've made so many difficult/important/strange decisions this year, that I cannot imagine any more changes in 2009, yet I am sure they are to come, as a result of whatever has changed so far. It might not be as soon as January, but it's bound to happen. These will be good things though! Good luck with yours, Andrzej!

Spirit of x-mas is not here. How can you feel the spirit of x-mas when they start the x-mas campaigns just after the All Saint Day. :D

I don't really know what I'll be doing on New Years Eve. Probably having some party with some friends. Nothing special to be honest.
We always have a good time.
