The commercial talks about Mr. Thomas and how these are made just as he made them back in England... for some reason, I have never met anyone from the Great Kingdom of Britain who knew what the hell they were talking about.
A thorough search for the infamous English muffin turned out ...

I'm bit surprised that there are people who don't know Poland Spring. I mean it's so popular in US (edit: at least in the parts I visited). But I don't know a person who actually knows what it is about. Just another WTF-kind thing for me. (Besides, is the name gramatically correct? I don't really understand the thread. There is a place in Maine called Poland, and it has spring water which is bottled and sold. Therefore the water is called Poland Spring.
Are you trying to say that the place or water source doesn't exist?

P.S. I'm not sure about Mr Thomas's muffins, but I'd be quite happy to get my mouth around....

We simply didn't know about the place and taught that it was supposed to be the name of our country. I believe.

I thought muffins are rather small.
But those are not that small.
It might need my further investigation though.

I don't think there is anything wrong with those muffins, it may just be the packaging method.
