Tatiana, your photo brought back some memories from my own childhood. My parents moved to a new house with beautiful wooden floors. Everything was so fresh and beautiful. There was no furniture except a huge round table in the middle of the living room. I was six and my sister four. We found a bottle of green ink our father used for his stamps. The ink was soon on the floor with us dancing on it as if it were a puddle. Then we chased each other round and round the table, leaving small green footprints all over the room.
Father had to paint the boards red to hide the evidence of our great joy. We had so much fun and couldn't understand why our parents were so sad.

I used to have a neighbor my age, Kajetan. Apart from playing moving house together (he would bring his trucks and I would supply dolls and furniture) across the hall to his or my apartment, we sometimes did tedious things. Once (and this was back in the early 80's, remember how difficult it was to find anything in the stores?) we took our crayons (there were no washable ones to buy, either) and drew lovely pictures over the freshly papered walls in his room.We also found it a great distraction to throw our toys out of the fifth floor balcony...
