Temat: US troops leaving Iraq

Our world is a giant chess board with pieces set up all over it. Who moves the pawns we might never know. The only thing that we can do, is observe all which is taking place and not base our calls on the media but on actual events. Right now we've had Israel threatening Iran for couple of years already, the US mass media has been discussing the possibility of a military action against Iran... this is definitely something that might play a role in the near future or might have had some bearing on the pull out situation.
Furthermore, it's a false presumption that the US is pulling out of Iraq, they are largely reducing their present in that country but to assume that they will completely remove themselves from Iraq is simply ignorant. There are currently 20 permanent US military bases in Iraq, permanent being the key word.
Another thing, it's not the Iraqi oil that was the main issue in this conflict, there's not enough oil in Iraq to make it worth while...

Let's just say it's all going according to my plan. *mwah ha ha ha!

(Slightly more) seriously- In August 2001, I remember reading (I can't remember where) about how an acting US president had never had such low approval ratings as Bush had, and thinking to myself "That guy needs a war, or some kind of Cassus Belli." I'm not saying Bush or his administration engineered 9/11, but his actions and speeches after that were very easy for him to make and gain popularity.
I'm just saying, that's all.
