I was just browsing through my NLP Events group when I saw this:

... basically, it's a two day pick-up seminar. (no, I'm NOT the trainer;)))

What do you think of this kind of thing? Girls, what do you reckon to the idea of blokes going on a "learn how to pull" weekend? Blokes, would you ever consider doing this, just out of curiosity?

Funny, I was going to post the exactly same thing but thought it would be too lame for anyone to comment on. Gives me the creeps to think the next nice guy I meet in a supermarket would be one of those ex losers who'd joined the seminar; but then, this hasn't happened to me in years, so I might not be the target group. Else, I'm just unattractive :D

On a serious note, I think it might help the guys boost their confidence but I can't understand why a man would join such a seminar. Maybe the men here will share an insight?

Learning how to seduce any woman; get her into bed with little effort. No, I can't see why any man would be interested in learning how to do that.

Ever since I promised to use my powers for good instead of evil, I've lost all interest in this type of thing. It's difficult, though. about three months ago I said hello to a lady as she passed in the corridor, and she still phones me every day to ask me out. I'll probably get four new invitations to be a contact from women after this post! Still, suffer the children!

b. A guy who's learnt the skills
c. A guy who's learnt the skills on his own
d. A guy who's learnt the skills from his friends
e. Just a cool guy who doesn't really think in terms of the skills but who "has it" anyway

All in all, probably better to meet version "e".

But how would you know it's version "e"?

And let's say Mr X isn't version "e"... what's wrong with him learning something to help him along his merry way?

We all need to learn things; if we don't have the skills at first and then need to go to school to learn them, does that make us losers?
