The short answer would be that I like brutal humour and cruelty and absolutely love the Coen Brothers:)

They are great when it comes to details, so the supporting roles are just absolutely perfect.
The obsessive use of the cuss words isn't me fav, true.

And I don't know this film by heart, so I'm not a die hard fan of The Dude. Well, I've seen Jeff Bridges in a contemporary comedy recently and I'm about to faint when I hear his voice...

It's a s/f flick based on a comic book. Funny and with a lot of action, with great Robert Downey Jr.
Bridges has an interesting role there ;D

no, I don't even know the title, I've just googled it to be the new Batman (didn't know it)
