I'm sure many of us have wondered, how napping a.k.a dozing off works and could it actually help us boost energy and awareness.

It's all timing-dependent, they say. Keep in check the times and periods of your naps to gain full control of what happens with your body after waking up.

Alternatively take a cup of coffee right before taking a nap. It takes about 30-45 minutes for the coffeine to kick in, which is just the right time to wake up.

What if coffee has no effect on the person? hehe this is my case.

However, I do take short naps during the day, and I believe it is great (Although I don't do it regularly).

A nap at, say 6:00 pm to 6:30 pm does the job for me. I can keep going till at least 1:00 a.m. with my mind focused. Never tried that coffee thing though.

It's a picture actually behind that link.
Many things in life are addictive. Some of them with higher risk levels. Nap is like drugs. In small quantities it could help you stay healthy, if overdosed - it may seriously damage your health, private and corporate life and more. A badly nap habit ruining someone's life? Possibly.

I sleep around 10 PM. Yes, it is true. I'm not a Rock 'N Roll star anymore.

When it's a nap, it should be around 2-3 PM for me. I sometimes need a refreshening, a mind reboot, eyes restart... whatever you name it.

I have micro naps. Usually when my students read something silently. Then I'm like '3-2-1 you're back in' and no one ever notices.
