Having seen many films recently which had over 7 points on http://imdb.com I'd say that the people who vote on films on this site generally have their heads stuck up their arses.

I'd have to agree with Steven that people who discuss movies tend to get very pretentious. Also, people who discuss pretty much anything, from wine (ever read any posts on the Wino group here? Gaaaah!) to sports cars.

Almost everyone is pretentious.

Most of us believe that we're right, we're strong/tough enough, we're open minded, we're not annoying, we're fair, we're not racists, we have good taste, we're respectful, we're sensitive.

But I don't see many of us having those values at the same body, combining them nicely, neatly; and probably chances are very slim that some of you see me having those characteristics.

So, who is not pretentious?

Most of us believe that we're right,
I am right very often, if I`m not I can admit it.

we're strong/tough enough,
I don`t want to be to be strong and I often suffer from too much "independence" and responsibility in my life. Please anybody be strong/tough for me.
we're open minded,
I am.

we're not annoying,
Sometimes I`m so annoying that I could win the world cup.

we're fair,
I am.

we're not racists,
I`m a "social" racist...

we have good taste,
This one is not discussed, they say...

we're respectful, we're sensitive.
I am.

But I don't see many of us having those values at the same body,
Not all of them in my body, as you can see.
So, who is not pretentious?
What`s your diagnosis?
