Political Correctness has been around for quite a while.

It is mainly something we connect with the USA and maybe Britain. But in continental Europe we come across it here and there and maybe more and more often. Is this a trend you want to follow? If yes, why? Are you exposed to 'PC' in your everyday- or work life?

Is it censoring or helping?

I think whenever someone has something they feel is important to say - they ought to just let it fly. Too much probably goes unsaid while worrying about how it sounds.

A person who is disabled or a disabled person: let the cat in the wheelchair decide whether or not someone is tactful or respectful in their general demeanor, whether they want to hear you or not, and say what you want. It's probably okay.Joj Y. edytował(a) ten post dnia 20.08.09 o godzinie 15:57

if we wan t to be so politically correct we shouldn't say let's say a snowman because women might get offended that there is no snowwoman, so I propose a snowperson ;)

I think that PC is good but sometimes it's just going too far.
