i had a rendezvous plannd. Now I have to see about the relationship between flying and weather. Also, I've never had a good dose of malaria, and i've had enough of parachutes :) Birds, okay. Yes :)))

I spent my last weekend at the Fantasy Festival. You need to know that I'm absolutely ignorant about fantasy, sci-fi, LOTR, Star Wars, RPG, dragons, gothic rock and all this stuff, and probably die ignorant as well. A friend of mine who's a local journalist (and had to prepare a whole-page article about the event) took me as her companion. Having entered the festival site (the remains of the Teutonic Castle of Toruń) in my fuchsia jumper and silver peep-toe ballet pumps, I had a profound feeling of being the greatest geek in the crowd of people disguised as Jedi knights, elves, Medieval princesses, druids, sorcerers and crusade warriors :)
Anyway, I had a really good time!

I keep thinking I should not invite my family to a party in two weeks, but rather go to a spa or simply go away. On the other hand, I know they will be disappointed ;)

I suggest to make some provisions before leaving for the weekend and at least check if the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) destroyed the world yet. you can check it here:

Flying to San Francisco tomorrow for the weekend to play at an event with some guests from all over... should be what the dr. ordered... or so I secretly keep hoping so.
