I'll try to read more about this fellow, I don't want to sound like a complete ignorant - but while I love Beksinski's art, I've never heard of Siudmak.

I love Beksiński too, Michael.

Very desolate paintings... very religious or, rather, anti-religious. Very much concerned with death and decay. Definitely influenced by surrealism, yet he maintained his own distinctive style.

Beksiński was a very versatile mind - also an excellent photographer. His son Tomasz was an interesting person too.
This is my favourite of his paintings. It took me some time to find it, but here it is:
