I love the shadows in this painting and, although you can't see it too well in this reproduction, the light of the cigarette at the man's lips as he gazes out of the window... looking at what? Waiting for whom?

Excellent choice, Steve. Beautiful colours. Windows are always very intriguing for me in paintings. Pity we can't just open them and see what's behind.
I will add this famous pop-art painting by Roy Lichtenstein.

Kenneth Noland - master of colour abstraction. I love his circles, stripes and other forms. Colours are never the same and are like music notes.
