Geertgen Tot Sint Jans - St John the BaptistThe wilderness St John is sitting in is like an earthly paradise, with the stream and the birds. The place reminds me of Dolinka Służewiecka where I often go for a walk. Sometimes there are no people at all so you can catch me sitting just like St John. The only thing you won't see is the white lamb. :)

Hieronymus Bosch - The PedlarThis poor man with his basket, a spoon, one slipper and one shoe is painted with such tender attention. There are so many details: a wretched inn, broken windows, gaping roof and animals.
