Today I spent two hours on the computer, but my daughter was happy playing with her toys and her baby brother. Even though it is wicked humid and hot today, should I have still taken her to the playground?

Kari, I know what you mean. There's nothing wrong in being selfish at least once a day, otherwise we'd go nuts. You don't have to be a glossy magazine type mom to be the one and only person your kids love to death. And hate to death, too ("I hate you! I was WATCHING my show!")
