Some people do think that the Permanent Sexual Arousal Syndrome can be caused as a side effect of trazadone or any of the serotonin reuptake inhibitors, a class of antidepressant.

It's real and it can be debilitating. The article kind of sexes it up a little.

It may be a nerve problem.

The woman inn the article sounds as if she was enjoying this, but I'm afraid the condition would drive anyone crazy, as we all tend to prefer being in control of our lives (and bodies). Besides, where's the fun in sex, if you have 150-200 orgasms a day anyway?

I find if I'm nervous I'm less likely to get over-excited. So sometimes I try to psyche myself up and worry to control my orgasms.

This bit is actually very disturbing. If you think she has a problem now, just wait and see what a prolonged "psyching up and worrying" will inevitably do to her.

The medication that caused the lady's problem was probably Clomipramine http://www.snopes.com/risque/aphrodisiacs/yawn.asp

Some female users have found that they start coming while walking round the supermarket etc. But very few want to end the treatment!

I tried it once a few tears ago (abuse rather than prescription) and indeed there were interesting effects, though not, unfortunately, spontaneous orgasms.
