True. Although I can't quite see the connection.
The said remnant would be hard to remove, wouldn't it?
The point is, if facial hair makes me feel un-neat I remove it.
The same goes for excess oil.

Lidia K.:It's a compromise with my wife inmy case. I would go Grizzly Adams (like Raf), but me mrs doesn't like me with too much facial hair. My mini goatee is a compromise I fought hard for !

She dyes her hair pitch black. And looks ten years older.
But her man is happy.

Perhaps my skin ISN'T the oily type?
I have also seen myself from a third-person perspective via photographs and haven't noticed anything consistently abnormal, no blackheads, whiteheads, thick oil, and no, not one of quite a few close female acquaintances over the years has suggested anything about my face, nor bought me any cleaning product as a hint, and neither has my mother.
So, I put forward the proposition that my cleaning routine, though not spectacular, isn't causing me many problems.
