I would: sauna, steam room, etc.

I wouldn't: manicure, pedicure, facial "masks" (is that how you call this in Eng?) and similar stuff.

Those are the treatments (not all of them I assume) you normally get in a SPA, right?
Being a sportsman, do you tolerate massages? ;)
Of course I do.

Brad doesn't.
But he also uses cosmetic "masks" and pedicure stuff. This is very common among Hollywood stars.
If you want to keep your skin fresh and clean, sometimes these cosmetic tratments are a must.
You just can't blame a heterosexual male being gay-ish just because he uses cosmetics... or else it will be fully your personal opinion (which is a stereotype -if you'd ask me).
You don't have to use the same techniques, but don't judge people's personal needs or taste.

If you'd know how many people goes to cosmeticians, you wouldn't compare them to gays.
Again, in my opinion.
You know gays only from movies I guess.

I am not metrosexual btw, if we have to accept that Wikipedia definition.
It says: "a strong concern for their appearance".
I just care about how I look and how I smell overall.
I've never had manicure/pedicure.
But I am against the stereotype.

You seemed to be a free minded guy.
But that connection you have between gays and cosmetic masks is plain `naive` for me.

If you want better stereotypes, I could list some.
(Even Wikipedia mentions about this stereotype in the definition of metrosexual).

If I shower everyday (usually twice a day), brush my teeth, wear clean clothes, shave 'almost' regularly and keep my hair trimmed, use antiperspirants and a decent after shave, does all that make me gay or metro?

If you (or should I say: if one) want to get mani/pedicures it's your (one's) choice and I am far from stopping or 'judging' you (one) for it. What I don't like is this showing off with fashion model appearance. You (one) may not like my showing off with ... (fill the gap), and I'm not gonna get offended or upset because you (one) do.*

I don't like people exaggerating in any aspect of their lives. And that's my understanding of metrosexuality.

And this is exactly the message I've been trying to get across here. Sorry I wasn't able to express myself in a clearer way.

* I'm fully aware that I'm pitching a slow ball here.
