No, I've never skated in my life. But my father used to skate below the stairs leading to Zamek Ujazdowski - "Speedy Gonzales" topped the charts then. ;) In the summer, you could rent a canoe and race in the rectangular pond nearby.

This is the main cathedral, that is now going to be a part of a pedestrian passage. The street, Mariacka, has been under construction for months, I last went there two weeks ago and was amazed at the progress (I'll post pics too). The last time I'd been there before that, it was a huge construction site (and yet I dragged someone over there just to show him how nice it would become once done renovating)
