Don't you think that the amount of time that we now spend on labor, ...
Besides, no one forced you to live in NY, doing what you do to earn your life. You have made your choice (And this one was supposed to go to: "if you want to be happy like a caveman, then be a caveman" argument)

I didn't miss the point Jarek. You 2 missed the point.All these choices thing is dependent on time and conditions. I'm well aware that making the choice of living the life of a cavemen is rather difficult.

You've missed my point. During our caveman “bliss” we begun improving our technologies with whatever means that we’ve found available. Inventing a wheel was not meant to be a money maker, simply a necessary means of improvement. Just like improving our weapons, food, medicine etc etc… life is simple… but we have managed to make it unnecessarily difficult by turning inventions into profit thus lowering our own standards of living and accepting the fact that quality standards of our produce greatly depend on the over all demand, where the more we need something the more we lower the production standards… and I feel like that’s sort of against any logic.
I am in no way saying that I am not enjoying our technology and our advances, I however condone the way things have gone. From life improvement to life of conscious slavery and commitment to wasting our lives away doing things that could at this point be done with a use of available technology while we could spend more time substantially improving our knowledge in fields that we find interesting instead of working to improve someone else’s social status. Our inventions, most of them prior to the patent office invention were created to bring forth improvement and to take certain burdens off our hands thus providing us with time to do other things… instead we’ve created this machine of a system that enslaves instead of assisting. It has been said on many occasions by many great scientific minds (Nobel Prize winners and such) that we now have the technology available, that could improve standards of our lives tremendously, yet instead we prefer to spend our time doing fruitless labor … well, maybe prefer is the wrong choice for words in this case… we prefer not to be ridiculed, homeless and hungry so we choose work.

Rafał, now your point seems to be something else than the subject of the thread.I can't see the connection.
Turning back to your example and allegory:
Was the life of a caveman simple for the caveman?
Is your life simple for you?
