Probably it's like: "Oh, this is the guy".
But then our intuition should go on working, and tell us just a week after, that the intuitive decision wasn't feeling right.
But it doesn't.
You have to come to understand it after a half a year (or 10 years) of misery.

It's weird.

Yeah, but intuition doesn't stand a chance against hormones, does it? Or feelings...

It might be weird, but that's how it is. I have a 2-year relationship behind me, that shows intuition's great when it comes to reminding you you're in a wrong relationship. It was doing it for about 20 months during my 24-months relationship. So you can see it's not very powerful, at least it wasn't in my case...

Against hormones - no, but I wouldn't agree on the feelings bit. I belive the two are related.

When it comes to romantic relationships and intuition of women, I've always had the feeling that they (women) had this crazy way of thinking: "I think I should be with this guy. Oh yes, definately".
This kind of intuition sucks when it makes you say: "I can see my future in your eyes".
But then, it is the mindset and the feature of women. You can't make a woman think in a manly manner. hehe.
I know I sound a bit confusing, but did any of you get what I mean?
Men don't think that way, or their intuition doesn't work that way.
Maybe instead of using a helping hand of intuition, we, men use different part of the brain. Like "Do I really like this girl?".

By the way, I believe most men are more emotional but care less about bonding at first... and it is understandable, because of the rules of nature. And women... they are different, understandably.

That's why I think, using the intuition mechanism on that stage is a mistake, and causes a lot of headache later.
Don't do it, ladies. hehe
Just ask the question "Do I really like this guy?" for some time. Forget about intuitions.

PS. Tomorrow I might put things in a different way, don't think I'm going crazy.

When you're aware of facts that aren't necessarily perceived by your senses, it's called cryptesthesia to a szaman. :) L.W. asked in writing about being aware of some condition in a room without perceiving it visually - common term, it's intuition.

What's hard livin' is when you have proven over and over and over and over... that you have this in even hyper amount, you were right again, in other words, but for some reaon, you went against your better judgment once. It usually has to do with an interpersonal relationship. You got burned. Then let's say you do it again and you got burned. You start to question whether you were all that cool after all. Then one day you are in still another situation, you're somehow aware of some probabilites, and you really know it, but now you have the propensity to invert your self-trust about those judgments. I was listening to a radio programme on coping with hard life situations once.

One observation mentioned there was about people who when scared often come across as aggressive and it's hard to tell the difference. It was about helping or showing support - you naturally don't want to be closer to an aggressive person and may not realize these symptoms are fear or anxiety.

I have a problem to put up with aggressive people, but when I think they may be scared, not aggressive - that sheds a different light on the situation. (e.g. someone waiting for the results of medical tests, expecting the worst)

I realized it's so true. Simple things like these often strike me.

I realized it's so true. Simple things like these often strike me.

Aggressive behavior - especially demonstrated in kids - can also be a desperate cry for attention. 'Hey, why won't you notice me, I need your attention and if I can't get it the right way I will do it the hard way, any way'. The same goes to adults.
