As I said, it's only one of few reasons, it was perhaps the final push in that direction, probably made it a bit more sudden. Many uncertainties hover over my head right now, I've managed to get a place to live already and doing all I can not to leave any loose ends... I'd hate to do a "spaghetti test" on this move, especialy that I am not doing this alone. We will see how things work out soon enough.

yes, having family to care for such plans have to be thought through! :) Good luck then, Rafal!

You'll be fine, Rafal :)

You complained about the education in US, but I find you very well educated and knowlegable,

Thank you. This is something that I picked up after school and AFTER school.
more than an average person here in Poland and I don't think it's because you've graduated from some sort of prestigeous school or college?

Not at all, I didn't pick this up at school either.
Finally, your politicians are not aliens from another
planet,

hehe... sometimes it makes me wonder.. haha.. actually if you want a good laugh, look up this funny fellow - David Icke

are children of your nation, which I believe they love and try
to prtect.

Definitely protecting interests, who's interests, that's the question. Again, it works same way wherever you go.
I can't agree with your vision of ruthless beasts, they might be making mistakes that's all.

Here is where the problem with the US gov't is most visible. When US makes mistakes, it is noticed world wide. Those mistakes usually cost human lives, or entier economical systems (ie. Argentina fiasco). I guess the saying "can't make an omlet without breaking few eggs" is something rather natural on the senate dinner table. Casualties of war. Problem with those is - when you hurt one person, all of the sudden you have an entire village hating you, unfortunately US doesn't just hurt A person, usually they destroy entire villages... which sort of puts them on a shit list of quite few people, sometimes entire nations (ie. Iraq, Iran, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Nicaragua, Afghanistan and the list goes on). Here is a great little aid to US led wars in it's entire history.

also, suggest watching "Why we fight" great documentary available free on youtube.

So I can definitely understand the world wide distaste for actions of the US gov't...

Hey, you can't take credit for David Icke. He's a British former footballer, TV presenter and Green Party member (though never elected to any parliament).

>At least the school taught you how to learn independently, otherwise you wouldn't be capable of any kind of self-study which led you to this point and as a teacher I can tell you it's not little. :)

Even if they protect the interests of the corporate business eventually the little ones benefit as well. I think it's obvious.

This is the problem of every celebrity I think. America is a kind of celebrity among nations and the whole world is looking up to you. if you fail by only little things, the whole world becomes dissapointed. You should know these things and I'd be surprised if you didn't.

Actually, I have my parents and grandparents to blame for this "mess". While still in Poland, I was told the real history, had a number of issues with my History teacher at the time (mid 80s and early 90s). My mom was called in to school quite frequently due to my rather anti-establishment ideas, planted by family.

This is true, unfortunately I wouldn't call bombing a village a little thing, neither would I call ruining an entire economical structure of countries a dissapointment.

It's not only wars, it's everything. The whole international PR.

Yes it is, but when did this start? International PR of US has always been something of a taboo. I mean when was it ever approved of? From day one it was against everything that the old continent stood for. From revolutionary war to war in Iraq. Only thing that changes is the rulling party and even that is nothing more than slight variation of previous or even the opposing one.

What you see right now is nothing more than a continuation of a trend that's been around for a while.

That's exactly the point. The world has changed, the ideologies have changed, the needs of people have changed but America is still sending the same old-fashioned message in their PR. I told you just at the beginning and I repeat it again: America needs change.
