@ writing, Anetta, I understand that. Human distinctiveness: ...some spelling problems (apart from my typing mistakes). I used to spell with confidence. I think we are all unique while having similar needs.Having similar needs doesn't mean we are the same.
Genetically, for instance, there's no 2 human being on Earth that are identical. OK, phenotype too. There'sn't anyone with the same appearance. Couple that with the massive life experiences. Even the clones would have different life experiences.
But if we talk about norms, than that's a different story.
Some people could be described as "in the norms", and some people as "people who hate to conform to the norms".
But in the end, we all are human and belong to the same taxonomic group. :) The specie that thinks way too much sometimes. hehe

what makes us different is our personal life experience. As much as we could agree with others, join causes, listen to same tunes or whatever... at one point we will definitely disagree... but by disagreeing with one person we agree with another... so all in all it is what it is... trying too hard is what makes people look like halfwits.

What has changed my opinion of supposed human uniqueness was the sociological explanation of suicide phenomenon provided in 19th century by Emile Durkheim.It explains this presumably individual phenomenon very well using sociological variables. It proved beyeond my doubt that we are not as unique we would like to be. I learned a great respect for sociology.
