seriously though, I can't stress this enough, if you are playing online or posting on different forums, or on a blog site - keep it respectable and polite ;)

If you want to change the people or culture around you, start with your-self :) This is the maxim I try to follow.

I have a friend who runs a blog/news/i don't know what to call it - time waster? site for some time now, its been nominated a few times and recived some awards for its popularity. Obviously sometimes he posts articles which raise some heated discussions and he actually wrote a whole article about internet culture, or the lack there of , and how we all should make efforts to change this.

Plus I really don't get any kicks from abusing people over the net... Sometimes I do get in some heated discussions and sometimes I can also bite, but I can admit to some one elses perspective - I think that’s what it all boils down to. Respect for the opinion of others – unless its some utter bullshit like racism or just being stupid and ignorant :P
