Bartek, I think someone here from the UK said once that such a thing as GL wouldn't sell very well* in there... Try FB:)

Yes, it's very much business oriented:), and it really depends what you need from a community website
For me LI it's just a board for serious info about me and my business contacts.
I have a feeling that there's little genuine communication but I'm not an expert.

Linked In is mainly used for business....

UK people use facebook these days :D

they like.. went crazy about it :)

almost just like us teens did on myspace :D

I find it kinda funny when people connect with the same people in different internet communities. On LinkedIn they put on serious faces, show their mind-blowing resumes, while one FB, MS or others they talk jibberish and upload photoshopped photos of themselves; typically of their heads on some famous basketball or guitar player's bodies.

Pathetic ;)

Yes You are right Lidia. What I need is, to meet great people like in here ;-)
And to improve my english in writing (becouse is not perfect). Business contact are also very wellcome.

Like Andrzej said, he never joined Nasza Klasa. I didn't as well.

I am basically very skeptic when it comes to internet based communities :) (if it does come to websites/portals etc which are based on having friends etc :P)

And many many of them I would find as just a loss of time.

Goldenline is actually the first one to change my point of view a bit
maybe it is only cause I have been stood in face of many interesting people and educated interesting minds... maybe not :)

Can't really tell :)

But I am really happy that I did join and that I joined THIS group :)

Well, I treat GL as a great way of self improvement. Like I said before this group is help me to learn english.
I have to write my answers with dictionary, but Im still learning
