1. Do you agree that when people suceed they usually gain enemies and lose friends?
It depends on the success.
I haven't gained any enemies or lost any friends.
Oh, wait, but I'm not successful maybe - I figure :)
2. What's the most annoying feature of your character that you would like to get rid of?
Obsessive cleaning habits when it comes to dishes/knives/forks etc, maybe? But I'm ok with it as long as it doesn't disturb the others. So far it didn't.
It tires me up sometimes, but I'm usually ok with it.
3. Did you like your school and why (not)?
I liked my schools.
I didn't think that I have the chance to not like it, maybe.
4. Would you break the law to help somebody?
It depends on what kind of a help that is.
If there's a 'life or death' situation, I see no laws or rules.
5. Do you think that the Internet will change languages significantly? For example, the permanent simplification of language (vocabulary, spelling, etc).
No, not the internet. The internet alone can not be the reason for this.
But people will make the 'adjustments' unless some clever institutions take care of it constantly.ilter K. edytował(a) ten post dnia 04.06.09 o godzinie 13:31

Have a nice weekend Steve :)

Couldn't agree more.

2. What's the most annoying feature of your character that you would like to get rid of?
Let this remain my secret... ;)

3. Did you like your school and why (not)?
I didn't. I consider school system as a threat against the humanity. Universities rule!

4. Would you break the law to help somebody?
Yes, with no hesitation.

5. Do you think that the Internet will change languages significantly? For example, the permanent simplification of language (vocabulary, spelling, etc).

This would be a disaster!

1. Do you agree that when people suceed they usually gain enemies and lose friends?
Yes, I agree. Life is a difficult challenge. Very often we can only count only on our strength. It's a very rare gift to have a real friend. Nobody likes when somebody gains success or is better than other. That's why succesful , outstandiong people very often don't have a friends and have to struggle with many enemies.

2. What's the most annoying feature of your character that you would like to get rid of?
Too sensitive conscience.

3. Did you like your school and why (not)?
No I didn't like my High Schhool, nobody respected me because I didn't want to anticipate to others. I hate to give in other people. I am too independent person. That's why my life is more challenging, but I like it. On the other hand, years which I spent at the university were amazing. It was hard but
beautiful time for me.

4. Would you break the law to help somebody?
I don't know.

5. Do you think that the Internet will change languages significantly? For example, the permanent simplification of language (vocabulary, spelling, etc).
Mayby, but I think that nothing can replace books and talks face to face.Agnieszka O. edytował(a) ten post dnia 05.06.09 o godzinie 10:08

I sometimes use "internetized" English and acronyms. Enen irl i'm more likely to leave a note that says, "soz, cu 2moz" ;) but cannot imagine a change as great as has recently been suggested by someone wanting to have a spelling reform in Polish.

Focus...

Focus...

Focus your mind on the five questions....:)
I can do this. :)

(Thank you, Urzula).

1. Not necessarily. It will be what people mutually make of it.
2. I'm generally proud of myself.
3. I guess I was most content when I lived in the university towns I lived in. I was a poor student in the beginning, however. I only cared about girls and my sports. I went back later with a more cultivated plan.
4. Yes, but as others are writing, it depends.
5. No but other technology - like printers - we are seeing them print books at high speed. Bookstores could start disappearing. I don't know. People like a book in their hands, not something like a transcript. What was the question? hehe
