Temat: Five for Friday, 1st of August
Magda B.:
1. Have you ever donated blood? What was the reason for doing it? If no, why haven't you done this so far?
I remember donating blood a long time ago when I was studying at Nursing Post-Graduate College (to avoid draft for the army, to be honest). I did it as I wanted to do something useful for the community and get closer to the medical profession I was becoming and apprentice of then.
2. Imagine you can have dinner with three famous people (celebs, politicians, etc.). Who would you invite?
As this is out of the question I would go further, just a little further and invite even historical, or died people.
I would definitely talk to Pamela Sharpe, Ohio Ste University as she is in my opinion the best author of English textbook (How to prepare for the TOEFL), Pamela Sharpe as far a s I know is still alive ;-)
I would surely have dinner with G.W.F Hegel, for I genuinely admire his philosophical work and perpetual influence the work has had on development of philosophical thought.
Finally I would like have a talk with G.W. Bush, but I am not sure that the talk would be a pleasant one.
3. Have you (or someone you know) ever had any troubles because of browsing community websites at work (GL, Nasza Klasa, Facebook, etc.)? Please elaborate.
I personally never have had any problems with that, except for having to delete lots of unsolicited e-mails, invitations to join a groups I never wanted to join and so on.
4. Are there any colours you definitely dislike?
No, there are colours I like, but no colours I do not.
>5. Going Dutch on a first date - what's your say?
I would say it depends. I would never proposed such thing to a girl I would ask for a date, but if she insisted on that point I might reluctantly have been able to understand it.
