1- Recommend a place to get a good cheap bite to eat.
(How does this place keep your stomach and wallet from going empty?)
ASP Krakowskie Przedmieście, but for a short time. Not a place to spend long hours chatting.

2- What's the most useless thing in your house right now?
("husband", "wife", "boy/girlfriend" doesn't count )
Several packages of foamed polystyrene and other things which remained after rebuiding my house.

3- What's the most on fire you've ever been?
(Figuratively. Literally. Whatever.)
When my son wanted to check whether my perfumes could catch fire quickly. He poured some over a paper, dropped it into a bathtub and set it on fire. Yes. Perfumes catch fire quickly. And effectively.

4- What's the least fun you've ever had at a place specifically tailored for fun?

The National Opera in Warsaw, four years ago.
On that day I was completely exhausted and decided ad hoc to go to the Opera alone to see Swan Lake. It was to relax me. First, there were no tickets left but I could wait - somebody might resign. I got a ticket because a bus driver, who had brought a group of pensioners, refused to enter the buiding. I was sitting just in the middle of the group. Three rows of them. They bought two librettos. For people sitting in the first and the last row. And then it started! From my left I heard: 'He`s a prince" ...a prince...a prince...a prince, repeated by at least 20 people to reach the other end of the group. Then from my right:"It`s his mother".... his mother... his mother...OMG! After three hours I was nearly dying!! Never again!

I hate when ladies at the disco must give a show of Sheherezada just to get some moron's attention usually for one night stand as I don't believe it is a place to make some intellectual interaction. And so after they dance and jump some moron finally leaves his spot under the wall and gets for the cheap and very ready fish. It was always below my level of good taste and dignity, despite that I do love dancing...

How does "Sheherezada" look? I've never heard of this word before!

Wok in Acton it's a chinese buffet with plenty of vegetables so it might be good place for vegetrians as well. 5 Pounds per person, fresh food, unlimited chinsese tea, nice staff. highly recommended :-D

really don't know. we rent the house and I'm aware that some day we'll have to move out so I do my best not to collect things.

1. A good cheap place to eat.
I agree with Guy. Also, I used to go to a Kebab place on Zielazna and Chlodna, I think. Maybe one street over. I went there every day.In the USA most authentic Mexican places are good and low cost. It wouldn't matter though, 10 dollars or 100. Mniam. I have a long time love affair with Mexican food. I do. If loving it is wrong, I don't want to be right.

2. Most useless things in the house...

3 On fire... Hmmm even in violence I haven't been "on fire." It's not in me for some reason. I have been in two explosions. I remember being surprised at the sound (or lack of it - like WOOOO!).

4. Buzz kill
One that comes to mind: a friend of a friend wanted to ride along to a party/bar. I knew he would be trouble. He even mentioned something about fighting with people since he had my brother and I, but I told him point blank he would be on his own. We got there, separated, he met his friends. He apparently threw a beer bottle at a moving car and did some damage. Redneck versus urban guys. They U-turned and ran him over. Blew his ass up. Knocked him into next week. He lived for a while "but it wasn't a good life." I spent the night breaking into his parents home in order to find where they were for the weekend - any bills, addresses, etc. The Pole-eece rode there in a helicopter with release documents for surgeries, etc.

Oh man, so many to pick from... it happens all the time; you go somewhere to have "a blast" with your mates and all of the sudden you find yourself dealing with a dilemma - I paid to get in... I can't get a refund... what am I to do?

One particular event that comes to mind haha.. while still living in NYC we were hosting some friends from France and we've decided to take them on a night out on town... haha.. a friend of ours was a bouncer at this joint downtown and invited us over to "check it out"... it was a hipster, 80's night with a DJ blasting away the absolute worst crap that the marvelous 80's had to offer... from "Jack and Diane" to "Rock you like a hurricane"... to our absolute dismay, our French friends got a serious kick out of watching a bunch of inebriated hipsters with their make up, fabulous hair and washed up 80's fashion... after about an hour (yes... a fricken hour!) I've decided to take a cigarette break outside... and stayed there.

I'm not really into any musicians per se, but I wouldn't mind seeing Laura Grabb, somatic responses, Richard Devine and Jano blow it up at some party...

I'd say Green Way in Olsztyn, aparently it's about 1/3 cheaper than in Warsaw. And you're always sure to roll rather than walk out of it.

Thankfully not literally. I had my pants on fire (when I lied). And I got on like a house on fire with a handful of individuals.

I hated every second of my pre-matura party (studniówka). Especially the sight of my teachers getting pissed (and I mean really pissed, one of them sat on the floor because she couldn't stand upright). It was so embarrasing.
