1. Poles... Do they want to be rich or just want to look rich?

old money wants to be rich, new money wants to be rich and to show it :)

2. What role does money play in your life?

I use it. I pay, I earn. Funny thing is I've no idea how much I earn. Some money I receive directly on my bank account, some - in cash, so until I fill my 'zeznanie podatkowe' I have no clue. Does this make me as rich as Aristotle Onassis?

3. Money is the root of all evil? or does it just give you a choice?

I expect it's like power: “tends to corrupt; absolute one corrupts absolutely. Rich men are almost always bad men.” it's all in your mind. Makes perfect sense to me.

4. What would you cut out (from your spendings) once you retired and receive around 35-40% of your last wage/salary (That is relevant to all who work and want to retired in Poland)

anything that wouldn't make me any wiser. That's all that matters after all.

5. What would you do if you won 1 mln zł?

I don't know. But they have my blessing to act at their wish.

Lets me stuff my freezer, pay my loans, get gas to go places and buy Reeboks for my kid.

Why money be evil and not those who operate it?

Both. The less money they have the more expensive they try to look.
Also, the golden rule "Pokaż się a zastaw się" is very popular among Polish.
2. What role does money play in your life?
I earn enough to pay for my studies and little pleasures.
Money comes, money goes.
3. Money is the root of all evil? or does it just give you a choice?
If you don't know what it's all about -it's (almost) always about money.
So both.
4. What would you cut out (from your spendings) once you retired and receive around 35-40% of your last wage/salary (That is relevant to all who work and want to retired in Poland)
I'm too young to think about it.:P

I sometimes think they want to look miserable.

It's an unfortunate ringing sound in my ears.

As stated before, it's the LOVE of money which can lead us astray, not money itself.

And money does give us choice. Can't really argue with that.

I haven't really had a job (as in work for someone) for years, so I'm sort of out of the loop. There's not much I would really cut down on, as I don't live very extravagently. I would, however, think of ways of boosting my income.

It’s a means, not a goal.

Money is not evil. It’s greed that has been making people do evil things for ages.

It is hard to tell now. Don’t know what will my priorities be in 30 years from now.

I'd rather ask "people do they want to be rich or just want to look rich". it depends on people not on nationalities. Onasis was a very poor young man when he suddenly became a millionaire. he became rich because he started aacting like a stinky rich person. full stop.

I respect it so it respects me. I have always enough of it to pay my bills and spend it for some pleasures.
