Can someone maybe explain the point of exporting Polish fish fingers to the home of fish fingers?

Has the world gone mad? Or should I just relax, tune it, turn on, and drop out and go with the flow, man?

I was thinking about it a bit and it seems to me that it can be a question of brands. We Poles have our favourite brands which we usually buy and choose for all kinds of foods. For example, frozen foods it would be Hortex, preserved foods - it would be Pudliszki etc. I know that when abroad Polish people often complain about the taste of local foods so they are happy if they can buy something from Poland, especially if this is the brand they trust. :)

Head-cheese, Marcin? I'm intrigued. Please elaborate

It is called salceson in Poland - head-cheese was the closest linguistic match I know of :)
It is American English.

That's salceson, right? I hate to think people actually eat it.
Other gross products include the gunky cheese with cumin

Oh yeah! Good point. To add more items to this lovely list - duck blood soup a.k.a. czernina, brain, kidneys, beef tongue - also in form of beef tongue headcheese :) Mmmh, yummy! :P

Jeez, such stuff is well gross :S

Actually I reckon the feeling of disgust comes with age - for me it was when I saw my granddad slaughter a pig and the entire process of meat making. It was when was all bits came together in front of my eyes and it became apparent that however tasty, black pudding is nothing else than a mix of blood clots, serum and buckwheat stuffed
into that poor piggy's colon...

I remember a second date (i.e. the first proper one) with a muslim girl in France.
I took her to a good restaurant in the Marais, and one of the specials was 'boudin', i.e. kaszanka/black pudding. It was a chance not to be missed. So, I ordered that for myself, along with a beer.
Hey, it was a Friday night, so I had the right to relax a bit.

She was OK about it. In fact I didn't mention my order. I just thought she'd accept it or not.

I'm not sure what is worse. What I saw on the picture, or my idea that the name was slang for dandruff.

dandruff/headcheese slang: rotfl (and cringing)...I might use that sometime. May I have it?

You can take the franchise for the Americas, I'll go with EMEA ;)

I could never get the idea of eating those horrible Murshmellows, that I see on Amercian movies. They actually bake it on campfire, I just can't imagine it.

Marshmallows, yum ;) When I have some time on my hands I'll get you homemade marshmallows - strawberry, chocolate, vanilla and rum. Takes really long to prepare but it's worth it.

I claim the right to make the obvious joke on this, but my upbringing prevents me from doing so!

And I resisted adding another comment asking you to show your 'bravery' ;)
