Temat: Famous friends

I've just found out from a gossip magazine that Kasia Kowalska has just had a baby boy. The boy's father is Marcin Ułanowski, one of my close friends from the percussion class at music school. We've long lost touch (he co-founded Sistars, I went to LDN) but we briefly met on the train to Gdansk last year before Open'er. It's not a huge thing, but I'm really pleased he's became famous (sort of), as he's a great guy, an excellent drummer and a very good company for a drink ;)

Have you got any friends who later became famous?

It reminds me that my class-mate, Asia Brodzik has just had her twins born ;)

My brother's latest CD has got "Album of the month" in DJ Magazine.

I taught Paulista and his wife, and Cleber's sons.

I also taught Kasia Tlałka, who apparently was in "Klan", but who knows?

That's all for now, but I'd have to think about it. There are a few in my past.

I've met a handful of folk who are pretty established musicians. At one of our events we had to kick one of the members of "In living Colour" (the band) out... he was in not so good of a shape hehe...

I know Prince Philippos of Greece and Denmark, although, I doubt he's particulalry famous. I know a daughter of guy who is on a Board of Directors of Microsoft, but again, he's rather unknown to the public.

My mother went to music school with Michal Bajor, and Edyta Gorniak used to live one block away from me in ZWM district in Opole.

Hehe, I didn't drink vodka with Philippos becasue he was under age at the time. ;) And I think his parents wouldn't like if he was kicked out of the school...

Hehe, I didn't drink vodka with Philippos becasue he was under age at the time. ;) And I think his parents wouldn't like if he was kicked out of the school...

Hermann was quite adult, it was on a plane back from Baykonur. Logistics failed and we run out of vodka after 1 hour, however the flight was some 3.5 hours, so Hermann complained a lot. Upon arrival in Moscow, which was border crossing, he put Soviet Union as a country of residence on the immigration form and nobody complained.

Oh, I forgot: Piotr Bałtroczyk (and his sister Kasia) were my almost next door neighbours, they used to live just a few houses away from mine.
