I'm also impressed Warren, you sounded like a Turkish dude.
Let's take it to the next step... next time try: "Türkiye!!!". I believe you can do it. hehe (I is trying too hard maybe)

Both teams played nice. Czech Rep. was stronger actually, but they lost their precision after 2nd Turkish goal.
Btw, I think referee could give a penalty shoot, because there was 1 dangerous kung-fu action in Turkish defense. Maybe referees didn't see it, or maybe they tought it was not on purpose, I don't know.

But yes, Turkey didn't let it go. I expected a draw after 1st Turkish goal, but they really tried hard. Weird thing... they wait to see goals first, then they start to play. I'm lucky I don't have a heart problem.

I've just seen the result on euro2008 website.
Switzerland is a strong team... ;P haha.

Obviously, Portugal didn't want to risk their good players, and there was nothing they'd loos even if that would be 4:0.

But on the other hand, I went to Prague in the Spring, liked the country very much and watched 'Sparta Prague'.

I even bought a Sparta Prague hat which I wear when its cold.

Just to add my thoughts, I saw the end of the Turkey - Switzerland game, and really admired the way the Turks persisted and fought through. Since yesterday, though, I've decided to support Turkey. That was the best last 15 minutes of any match I've seen in a while.

Keith, yes, the last 15 minutes was really interesting. Especially red card for Turkish goal keeper and yellow card to Milan Baroš, while he is not in the game, were also very interesting moments :)
Tuncay (a midfielder) was clearly praying to God when he replaced the goal keeper. haha. :)
