to use the definite article here the very name itself would need to be defining in a way - that is - 'the group is a sphere' and 'it is anglo'.

Is it possible to tweak GL so that if you edit what you wrote, you don't also have to reformat all the text. I don't know if it is my browser, but when I click on edit, the lines start to break up and I have to rejoin them.

I'm just doing my homework,assigned by Joy.

1. Rex Anglorum and Angles - easy-peasy, everybody knows.

To get a better grade I should know a little more about the word 'REX'

1. rex ( pl reges) king
2. the presiding masquer in a Mardi Gras festival or parade (as at New Orleans)
3. used in the phrase "to play rex" (pranks?) - BTW, is it obscene?

4. a) rex (pl rexes or rex) - a genetic variation esp.of the domestic rabbit and various rodents which behaves as a simple recessive and in which the guard hairs are shorter than the undercoat or entirely lacking
b) an animal or pelt exhibiting the rex characteristic
