This isn't something I would do lightly or even slowly.
I'll do mine one at a time.
I've done exactly the same thing before on another thread, in another forum.

Anyway, I numbered mine in order of merit. This one is definitely my No1, and is as fresh and original as the very first time I heard it.
Sparks: "This town ain't big enough for the both of us"
Anyone else love this song?
OK. Now No 2. (Iknow I'm doing things the wrong way round).
I love Mark Bolan and his music. His songs are beautiful and gentle. I paticularly like the songs from his old underground days before he went electric, and was an obscure cult hero.
This is the most beautiful Tyrranosaurus Rex song, before Mark Bolan became a teeny-bopper glam rock idol.
Mark Bolan and Mickey Flynn, By the light of a magical moon., from a gentler, more idealistic and less commercial era.
This is a live recording, so the sound quality is better in the studio version.
Bolan was very much influenced by Tolkein, so Kasia P might like him.

My skull gives head, so let's wed
Sylwia Łubkowska:Thanks, Sylwia :) This one suits my my recent mood perfectly :))
Agnieszka, I've got a song for you - it's called Wings in Motion and is sung by Kelli Ali (ex-Sneaker Pimps). I think it goes with your personality! ;)

Edit: well... not really... this one is better for me these days :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WMA62CsFvzg&feature=rel...
Sylwia Łubkowska:I enjoyed it. The song was really nice. Guess I will listen to it now and then :)
Oh, well - Iced Earth is quite different. Hope you enjoyed it anyway ;)

But Iced Earth's "I died for you" is a song which I love. And I love it even more when I feel bad :)
Sylwia Łubkowska:And what about this one? ;)
There's definitely a good 'icy' feel to it ;)

Right, I'll be adding to this as I go along, too (music is far too important to just jot down!)
In no order:
1. Doves: Black and White Town
Fantastic song on a sunny day, and the video counterpoints the tune perfectly, in my opinion.
2. Van Morrison: And It Stoned Me
Referred to as Van The Man in Ireland, this poetic ode to a younger, carefree day shows why, and helps you forget the whole "Cliff Richard duet" thing. I couldn't find it anywhere online, but that makes it even more special!
3. Smashing Pumpkins: Today
I don't know if I would have put this down if Kari hadn't put "Sweet Sweet" down (Big Shout Out, K!). I went for more popular, more played, more commercial, but also, just more!

And now for No3.
Eine Symphonie des Grauens by the monochrome set.

Predictably no response for No3.
But a truly great band nonetheless.

However, I don't think I could have understood much, hadn't you provided the lyrics. I'm not sure about the music (though there's some raw punk feel I can appreciate). I used to listen to things like this when I was younger, but today it sounds a bit too cacophonous to me ;))

No-one remotely interested in hardcore punk would be interested in the set.

The monochrome set are pretty far from being a punk group.
