1) You are a couple on the road, [...] But you've been arguing in the last 16 minutes, and it doesn't look like you both are going to calm down. [...] your partner said such a thing that it is not possible to behave like it wasn't told...
It is a very hypothetical question.
But thank you very much for asking, it is brilliant...
I would shut up for sometime, remain silent, and wait for the other side to understand that something is not ok.
If no response comes to soften things up a little, I'd stop in the first convenient place and would ask if she was serious.
If I see no signs, I'd take some of my important things and turn back home. She can have a holiday, or turn back with the car.
AND, if you were driving for your regular/weekly shopping (just like on a regular weekend day, maybe), would that change your behaviour?
Yes.
I wouldn't ask whether she was serious or not.
I can have a peace of mind and calm down, and she can think about what was wrong with what she said while we are alone.
Because in none of the cases it seems like we're enjoying what we've been doing anyway.
2) How many hours/minutes a day you watch TV?
Hmm... tricky question!
It is inconsistent, and I think it is good that way :)
Sometimes 2 hours, sometimes 1 hour a day, sometimes no TV at all.
What is your favorite program, or favorite type of programs?
Lately there's one serial I like: Dr. House.
I like watching F1, and oddly enough ski-jumping.
Adam Małysz and Robert Kubica are the dudes to blame. Usually I am not a fan of watching sports at home.
Exception: FIFA World Cups and Euro cups. That's when I like watching football.
Other than that, I like watching weather forecasts in summer. So that I can make my sunbathing plan. I know all of those pogoda presenters. :)
If I feel like watching TV, I choose my favorite action/sci-fi/thriller ones that I'd like to see again.
If I am bored to death, though, I can even watch lowest grade, badly produced, horrible-visual-effects "catastrophe" movies.
"Meteorite hits the World", "The World under our feet started to crackle and suck huge trees in" are the types I like the most. In those moments.
Describe your absolute TV pleasure... where would it be, any snacks/drinks within the reach of your fingers?
I like Coca-Cola when I am watching movies in cinema, so I'd look for a coke in the fridge if I discover a movie in the schedule.
Do you like watching TV with friends/spouse/children or prefer being alone?
If more than 2 friends, I'd refuse to watch TV. Going out or putting some music on and having a chat would be interactive and entertaining.
If I am bored, alone, and if I don't want to work, I watch TV until I get sleepy (which happens around 10PM).
But more importantly... who has the remote?
Of course I do!!! I am very good at sensible zapping. I can find the programs people were looking for easier than those people themselves.
And I am very kind. I don't dictate what to watch.
That's why remote control finds me, without even me asking for it, people learns!
3) Have you ever heard people telling you: "Oh, but you don't look like a *put your nationality here*!" with an amazement?
Almost all the time when I am outside of Turkey.
Although I can't claim I look like an average Turk, there are millions of Turks, who don't look like Turks -you need to stay in Turkey about a year to understand the diversity in the looks of Turkish people.
Foreigners usually mix me up with Spaniards, French or Italians.
When I was in US, I was either Mexican or Puerto Rican. But then again, most of them didn't know exactly what Turkey is. "Some other country, far, far away".
4) Please match 2 of your favorite movie characters (as in matchmaking) to make a couple in real life.
If they were already matched in the same movie, un-match them first.
What an interesting question is this?!!
I can't. I didn't think about it. But if I come up with a good match, I'll come by again.
5) How far do you think you are away from being "an average person on the street", and what (do you think) has been the most important factor in your life which shaped you up and made you a kind of special, or a different one?
What a creative and intricate question that is?.. wow!...
I am too far from being an average person. Not because I live in a foreign country, but because of my choices.
And most of my choices made it possible to add some interesting experiences, which I found them useful later on.
Although it wasn't so clear when I was 18, I knew that I won't live a typical life.
I see myself as a different person, mostly because I am able to understand other people easily. Probably because I started to put myself into others' shoes when I was 10. There are a lot of people around, also my age, but I see myself completely different, yet able to understand and even like them.
I can hold a serious conversation with many different people (from different backgrounds and cultures) in different ages, and somehow I like this ability of mine.
