I'm currently looking for a Senior C/C++ Engineer for my Corks based multinational. Salary €50-60k and good package attached to it.

Senior Software Engineer
Working as a key team member under limited direction, provides technical expertise by independently and collaboratively determining and developing solutions to a wide range of complex software engineering challenges. Understands company goals and practices and applies them when resolving a variety of problems. Uses judgment, creativity and sound technical knowledge to obtain and recommend solutions. Initial assignment will be to contribute to a major embedded diagnostic and system exerciser application with a global user base. The successful candidate will interact with and influence groups throughout clients world-wide operations.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Contribute embedded code for a high performance diagnostic and system exerciser application.Technical ownership of a significant code module, including design, maintenance and documentation.
Represents the organization on project teams and may perform technical project leadership roles.
Contributes to the development and achievement of organizational goals and objectives.
Develops new software engineering methods or processes, re-evaluates existing processes.
Mentoring junior engineers and peers as appropriate.
Analyze and code complex modules, define data structures, and specify test tools.
Writes high level design specs, unit test plans and integration test plans.
Understands test and validation processes, interfaces with hardware engineers and factory technicians.
Uses knowledge of test, validation and hardware development process to improve software quality.

SKILLS
Minimum 3-5 years C/C++ development.
2-3 years embedded development preferred.
Knowledge of Intel Architecture a plus.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
Strong team player Linux and /or Unix skills a plus. Driver or kernel level programming a plus. Experience programming hardware essential.
Technical familiarity with at least one of; I2C, PCI, SAS, FC, iSCSI, or USB required. Education Required: Bachelors (Technical)
