Right, let's say that a meteor crosses the sky, sending out alpha waves, or gamma rays, or crap like that, and the Anglosphere regulars all get super powers for fighting crime - or evil.
Who would get what, and would they get a cool name, or keep their own?

JOJ (Joj Yambrick): Able to run faster than a speeding 1970 Dodge Challenger, and able to jump further than a kangaroo on speed

MYSTERA (Wendy Tweed): Highly telepathic, Mystera knows what you're going to do before you do! Fiercely independent, though, she sometimes takes sides against the Anglosphere Team, say, to help small animals.

FLAME (Rafał Wolk): An immense encyclopaedic knowledge of the minutest details, coupled with an IQ of about, er, well over 100, mean that Flame is more than a match for any criminal mind. The name has nothing to do with Rafał's super powers, he just thinks it's cool.

I think it's already happened to me.

Sometimes, especially when the moon is full and rain keeps banging on the roofs, I feel this irresistable urge to go outside, take a train to Krakow and stand until dawn outside the windows of some random, innocent soul, provided that his birth name starts with a K and last name with a B.

I haven't come up with a nickname for meself yet. I definitely would not keep my own name, though.

Joj, Keith seems to have a double personality. He must have received something like at least a double dose of those rays (did he deliberately expose himself to all that crap for too long....?)
Here they talk of him as BURNING FAITH, or sometimes as BURNING SWORD, converting Anglosphere non-believers to Christian Naturism (?)
A visit to Gdańsk this coming long weekend could let you realize how serious this movement is and you could see with your own eyes the terrifying crowds of his followers.

If you twist my arm I might visit Gdansk, if I must (in truth, one of my favorite places on the planet).

I don't want to be terrified any more today, though. I had a small spider on my arm earlier while I was in some brush (it means thick shrubbery). My heart rate is only just now down to 250.

Nie ma znaczenia..I have a plan for Keith. Our friend Marcin B. will do something to that molecular structure of his...how Keith manipulates azot...- the burning is simply a plasma - and he'll melt away into the atmosphere. I can't do it alone. I have "two left thumbs."
