Hurling is a Gaelic Game, which is like a cross between field hockey and rugby.

I currently play in a basketball league of mixed professionals and amateurs near Detroit...called a ProAm league here...3 guard. Every day I am either playing baseball; golf (I'm the worst there is:); tennis; what I call soccer; and football but it doesn't start until September, we're training. Hockey in the winter. I was lucky in baseball and football for some reason, and I had a couple of deals, in Arizona with the San Fransisco Giants' organization (here we call it minor leagues when you're not on te parent club); Toronto Blue Jays, and Detroit Tigers. I still have the Giants' training record in the 60 (yards). It wassome time ago, even late 80s early 90s.

I can't stand to watch it on TV unless I know someone who's playing.

My next door neighbor at the lake was a successful pitcher in pro baseball for a long time, which is boring there but it's our national pastime. He was world champion, all-star, etc. We had the same circles of teammates, contempoaries, etc.

Charlie B., Milwaukee Bucks, Mo Pete, Mateen C.; these NBA guys from my neighborhood and they're playing in the local leagues too. Others...you know, a brutha gets around. I know a few guys that went on to the NFL (American football)...I just played on the same teams or against a ot of guys. I've met very many but these I see around sometimes.

See, I was a terrible student, college and high school...because I only cared about three things: Girls, my sports, and girls.

Some things never change :)))

Mo Pete is ma main man. Luv what his team has achieved this year. He's been a great help for C.P.3 and Chandler.

He's a good young man...he's doing a lot for our old neighborhoods, etc...Charlie and his dad the same...very, very quiet unassuming. Mateen...eh. :)))

P.S.

however, you're good young men and women too, and when you do something relative to your own viability it isn't recorded, i.e., I think you'd "do a lot" too with millions per year every year for ten years...You're a good young man too, let's not forget.

The last time we played a team we're going to encounter today, Iended up with two broken bones in my hand...someone stomped them.

a local sports guy asked me what was the turning point in the game we had just won. It was a chmpionship game. I got lucky and was scoring at the end. I told him "when I got out of my car." But I was justjoking. Like here, it's hard to depict that in writing. So the other team saw that and I got hurt.

I wonder what it feels like to have someone smash you in the elbow with their throat? Think I'll try to find out!
