Zero points for Orlando off the fast break in that first game, which surprised me, and I didn't see any up to the point I left last night (game 2). They're relatively "small" too, so it seems like they could run a little better.

I don't like their chances against the Lakers even at home.

(Now bet on the opposite. I'm always wrong. My dad used to ask me some picks. Then he would smile and write the opposite).

Orlando will fail, they're too young to compete against a team as experienced as the Lakers.

Next year maybe, but then LBJ will be back next year. And D.Wade too (hopefully).

I've been watching the finals post factum. Games 3 and 4 were lost on free throw line. Game 3 is on Kobe, game 4 on Turkoglu/Howard.

Speaking of Turkoglu (and thanks. Now I don't have to look up his name), the free agency period starts tomorrow and the Pistons are going to come in 18 to 20 million under the salary cap. They drafted three athletic small forwards, who can get around better, help on the picks and rolls, etc. Now they need a big guy to have at least one guy who can bang in the post...maybe Boozer from Utah, and maybe...maybe Turkoglu, swingman. They finally gave up on Amir Johnson and traded him but they'll just cut the guys they received in order tomake more salary cap room.

Turkoglu is one of those guys you dislike when he's on the "other team," but someone you would like to have.

Bill L. resigned from the WNBA Detroit team (I have a friend on that team). Among other things, he would probably know when to get two techs and when not to. :)

They fired Carlisle (sp?) after he lost in the Finals. That was probably over contract matters, though.
