He just made this awesome left-right spin and followed with the flush. It'll be coming to you by now so I can say it. Left-right spin and maintains balance to get that elevation. My question, though, is W(here)TF was the help? Typical Pistons right now.

The best part of the play was his getting back on D, a subtle, abbreviated shake of the head "no" to whomever was guarding him haha. :)
Very Jornadaesque, wasn't it? And then the block. I just saw the stats. D.Wade is the second in league in blocks+steals combined. The Superman (D.Howard) leads all.

There's this kid, 10 years old or so. A couple of years ago he went down with some badass bacterial infection. He wouldn't respond to antibiotics, spent almost 60 days in ICU. Eventually he lost all limbs (insufficient blood circulation). Wade visited him after the game vs da Bulls... Blah blah blah yada yada yada... Long story short the kid, despite obviously not being able to play any sports again, hasn't lost optimism. What touched me was the kid's mom, when she said: we're happy that our son is OK. It wasn't what her body language was saying, though.

Devastating. I've seen these. I didn't see about that little dude, but you usually don't get "we need to amputate his/her arms or legs." Usually it's "we need to amputate this right foot in order to..." Next day. We need to consider the possibilty of..." Next day, leg. Two days later other leg. Later. "We want to intervene this problem in his/her hand..."

That kid was happy about the visit, though, I'll bet. Good medicine :)

I had that one in my eyes when I turned on the TV (the dusty TV). But I was looking for the NCAA tournament. I'm writing because I got a grin wondering if you'll have it there - your LeBron and all. :)

I wanted to send some NCAA links because these games are nuts. They all have commercials attached to them, though - the ones I found.

I loosley timed the last 8 seconds of a game. 10 minutes. They're all so close. Really good games. It's inbound, foul. Freethrows. Time out. Inbound, foul. Freethrows. Time out...

They mostly do come down to turnovers and freethrows, as my brother commented. Kinda fun.

Sounds like fun!

The Cavs beat the shit out of the Mavs, literally. They won by something like 30 points. LB spent almost the entire 4th quarter on the bench. He didn't have his usual monster game (he came a cpl of rebounds shy of a triple double though), but his teammates took matters in their own hands. Especially Mo Williams (sank a few 3 crucial pointers) and Varejao (blocks, steals, rebounds), but the bench players came in strong too.

I guess I put the cart before the horse. I don't know why I thought they had the Bulls in the playoffs right now. I guess I saw them playing while I was passing by and I thought they started that already. Then today I saw the Bulls have the Celts and Pistons/Heat.

The team names are a weird thing fo' sho.' Knicks comes from some legendary political group from NYC's history(?) Shortened to Knicks but their paperwork is probably still the long form. Bulls: who knows? Pistons from the car engine part, Detroit being a car manufacturing town. An ironic one is the Jazz. Utah Jazz. Utah? Jazz? moved from New Orleans to Utah in the 70s, I think. New Orleans = Jazz to a lot of people, so...then the Charlotte Hornets moved to N.O.

LA "Lakers?" They grew up in Minneapolis or one of those towns but for sure it in Minnesota, the "Land of 10,000 Lakes." So Lakers. The daring-type names like Cavaliers and the animal teams are meant to impress us (why do you think so many women go to the Chicago games)? hehe The others usually have something to do with a characteristic feature about the area in which they were originally founded. The ownership usually stays the same and they have the brand and dont want to change it. Lotsa Irish in Boston when they were founded. I think a Pacer is a type of race horse.
