Same as any other sports related thread. Plus it's meant to bring balance to the force, i.e. give a counterweight to the overwhelming presence of football (soccer) in 99,99999% of threads.

Good news: it has begun!

Bad news: Greg Oden, a prodigy player who missed the entire last season due to a serious knee injury, will miss another 2-4 weeks due to a foot sprain.

Portland Trailblazers' owners, who have Oden on their paylist (a $multimillion contract for god-knows-how many seasons and he hasn't played a single official NBA game yet - preseason doesn't count), must be crying their eyes out.

They go over you medically with a fine toothed comb before they sink all that money into you, but I don't know. Just looking at his face as he was a college senior (our arch rivals) I never had confidence in his ability to take that schedule.

hehe...no offence about what he can't help, but he just has to have some premature degenerative susceptibilities that didnt show up. Maybe it just went tick, tick, tick all the way through until he reached a ceratin age and then, tick, tick...and here we are. Poor guy. He must be a nice kid for taking all that guff about his appearance. I think they called him "old man"...and that was his teammates! I could just smell frail connective tissue from 300 miles away. :)))tia..what was e seventeen? 18, 19?

My home team, the Detroit Pistons: Billups to Denver for Iverson. I like to watch Iverson when I do watch. Plus, he's a fun character, "mang." :)

(probably half a favor to Billups who originates from Denver).

I bought a suite for season tickets for the Detroit Pistons home games. You can have a big private party at the games. They are catered, refrigerator full of beer. A staff memeber is assigned to your "suite." There are televisions and then quite a few seats outside as well.

I would rather sit in the nose bleed seats. There is just ZERO live game action or atmosphere. What. Go to a game, sit on a nice couch and drink beer, and? Watch it on a TV. I think people wanna go on the 23. Timberwolves.

If I go, I'm in the bleachers. They have beer and hot dogs there too. )))

...but what a waste of money (in my opinion). It's fun to see once I think but you really do lose a lot of the "live" atmosphere.

I'll be handing down my edict. Who will be elected to the starting team of each all-star team. Then, for my next trick, I will be forshadowing which teams will be in the NBA finals. Please feel free to preceed me while I conjure my amazing abilites.
