I have been asked to spread a masseage regarding an opportunity for a candidate from Poland for a following signement:
Russian retail chain looks for an experienced manager of purchasing dept of a retail chain in Poland to become their full time purchase agent for goods from the Polish market.
The chain is economy oriented. They are spread across Russia and they grow.
The focus will be on fresh but also broad specter of FMCG. The objectives for a person will be to find product sources, prepare a tender process and based on the chain's executives' decision start up a contract and supply process. The needs and products' specyfication will be coming from the chain.
Work will be home office based, involving intensive meetings, travelling and communication. Reporting and info exchange with the chain will be on IT platform, however traveling to HQ will be approx 1 time per Q.
They think about the project in a preliminary mode at this stage. If they will see that there is a person able to handle it responsibly and effectivelly - they are ready to make decisison on the position's start and a person selection. They are ready to compensate handsomly with a solid dose of variable part depending on throughput.
